What baby equipment did you purchase?

We got all of those things and my sons absolutely loves them. He's too big for his bouncer, walker, and swing, so we have those set aside for the new baby. The playpen he uses everyday for his naps, though the stroller doesn't get used much due to the fact that he doesn't leave the house often. The floor mat is probably his favorite thing. OK I just had a baby april 3rd I was three weeks early SCARED........ I also had bad cramps no seizures but bbbbaaddd cramps.... Birth hurts well labor pains HURT pushing is tough but a relief!!!! I did not get an epidural but I also had a fast labor with three pushes and i had a beautiful baby girl.... its your decision about a epidural... if you have a lllooonnggg labor you may want/need it who cares your gonna be a mommy... I'm in an original adaptation of Aladdin at Junior University Musical Theater. In the show there is a worshiper who sings this first tenor solo... I am not a first tenor, I'm a second tenor, there is no way I can hit those high notes. So anyways, they were having auditions for the Worshiper, and I don't know why I auditioned for that part, but I did. When I got the music, I almost fainted because there was no way that I was going to be able to hit those high notes..So when I was lined up with everyone else I was pretty nervous. When I got up there to sing the song I nailed it, and got the part. But I've never been able to hit those notes again, and now I'm pretty nervous b/c we have rehearsal for my solo tomorrow night. Here is my dilemma...it's about my room?

my room is currently pretty messy.I have a small closet with a long cedar chest underneath it. I have my shoes on top of the cedar chest and my long sleeved shirts and short sleeved shirts in the closet. I have my unmentionables in a drawer and have my summer clothing, (shorts and tanktops) in at least 2 drawers, pajamas in 2-3 drawers, work clothes in a drawer. I have too much clothes that either can be gotten rid of (mostly summer clothes) but everything is cute or has been given to me by a certain someone or from an event. I have a Chilly Willy shirt, which I know is a little juvenille but I think it's cute. I have 8-10 pairs of jeans and some black pants with a stripe down the side. If it's frozen now you need to take it out today and put it in the fridge to get it thawed by Christmas. That's a large turkey and it will take many days to thaw it completely. If you're serving it on Monday be sure to check on it Sunday afternoon to see if it's thawed. If not you may need to run some warm water through it and put it back in the fridge. My family ran into that problem at Thanksgiving. The 20 lb turkey had been defrosting for 3 days and wasn't even close to thawed out when we got ready to put it in the oven. We had to run warm water though it and sit it in the sink to thaw. Needless to say our dinner was much later than expected.

When your screen pops up but only has the task bar, (start etc.), reappears, and the computer is usable, simply right click the desktop, and click "Arrange icons by", and then select in the sub-menu, "Show desktop items." My heart has been beating really fast off and on today, any ideas what it could be?

I guess is started last night when I was watching TV kinda late. My heart sped up and I felt like I had had a ton of caffeine (which I didn't). It also woke me up this AM and happened a couple times throughout the day. It eventually returns to normal. Besides that I have no other symptoms. I do have a VSD (hole in my heart, aka Ventricular Septal Defect) and have had it since birth. I didn't even know it was there until pregnancy where I had issues with PE's (clots in lungs) and they found it. I doubt very seriously if this is a PE...the symptoms are not similar at all. I have not taken any meds except my daily baby aspirin. I also have not been drinking or eating anything that might cause this. Any ideas on what could be happening?

I'm seeing this guy who lives in a different town and we established that we really like each other. We make trips back and forth to see each other every week. I'd probably be like rouge and be torn between the two. Maybe start with the X-men when i was young to learn to use my powers correctly and drink Charles kool aid about using my powers for good and world peace. My ex and I both claimed my daughter as a dependent on our tax returns.?

I did mine and my husband's tax return, jointly, in January, claiming my daughter, since she has been living with me her whole life. We have already received our refund. I received a call last night from my ex (my daughter's biological father) telling me that he attempted to file his taxes with a status of Head of Household and claiming my daughter as his dependent. She has not stayed with him one day out of this year, but he does pay child support, not court ordered. He is stating that because he pays child support and because he was deployed all of last year that he should be the one to claim her and not me. I'm uming he is trying to use the argument that because he was deployed, that is the reason she lives with me, however, she has not spent one night with him since the day she was born (3 years ago), he has visited her maybe 4 times in 2008 and she has never even visited his home address, so she obviously does not share an address with him either. He is threatening to take me to court because his "accountant" has told him that he is the one that should be claiming her and not me. I can't imagine that this is even half true considering the situation, however, it does kind of have me worried. He told me that i will be getting a letter from the IRS soon and that I will have to amend my return. Is this true and if so, will I be audited and what will i need to have to prove that my husband and I are the ones who take care of her and is there any way for him to get around the definition of a dependent?

I have never made a chicken before, and need recipes and instructions on cooking a whole chicken. Its frozen but I am taking it out tonight to defrost it. Would love ideas on what to stuff it with, if anythig, How and what to cook it in...any ideas! Thanks!

Eventually you will want to add a wider variety of protein sources (pork, venison, turkey, lamb, mutton, rabbit, bison, goat...)not necessarily all of those, just a little more variety to keep her interested and cover all your bases nutrient wise. You may want to find a raw food co-op near you and take advantage of the bulk prices on quality raw. I get mine from a company called mypetcarnivore and they offer lots of variety, the meat is hormone/antibiotic free, free-range, & gr fed so I don't have to worry about all the crap they put in grocery meat both while it's living and after slaughter. Two pounds in 8 days is a healthy weight gain. Growth that is too quick leads to orthopedic issues so the slower the better. Genetics determines eventual size; overfeeding just leads to a fat unhealthy pup. You are doing everything correctly. Keep up the good work and good luck with your new pup!

What is different about stain versus thinned out paint, especially with unusual colors?

A club I went to years ago had simple plywood tables (with really cool grain--wood type unknown) that had been stained so the grain was highly visible and varnished. I thought it was stunning, so I did my own surface. Using what I had kicking around, I mixed some oil paints to get a burgundy I really liked, and thinned it out alot with paint thinner. Rubbed this into the surface, quickly, and after the varnishing, it was awesome. Now I want to do a much larger area (greenish-blue), can't really find the right color (or can't trust samples too much), and besides, stains cost alot more. So, I guess I'm wondering if there's really any difference, as long as protective varnish is added.

Lower back pain in a 13 year old?

I'm a 5 foot, 101 pound, 13-year-old female. A couple months ago I had really bad pain in my lower back (almost to the ocks area). It was gone within a night, and didn't come back until one night a few days ago - but it was gone by morning, too. But it came back sooner - just a day later, and started in the morning, but was pretty much gone by 1 o' clock. It hurts more if I lean back or forwards at my waist...um, WHAT could it be? One of the best I've ever seen was at a house show, and not on TV. At the 2nd annual Ilio DiPaolo Tribute Show (WCW) in Buffalo, NY, I saw a match between Rey Mysterio and Dean Malenko. During the match, Dean whipped Rey into the corner and starting walking towards him to follow up. In the meantime, Rey came charging out of the corner and they met in the center of the ring. Rey jumped up with legs spread eagle, Malenko "threw" Rey up over his head and Rey landed perfectly on the opposite turnbuckle and performed a moonsault onto Dean as he turned around. It was probably the most amazing display of perfect timing and execution I've ever seen in a wrestling ring.

Anyone Have Experience With Cardiac Disease in Cats?

My 2 yr old cat recently developed an infrequent cough, I brought him to the vet to be checked out. We did bloodwork and some x-rays. The bloodwork showed no significant findings but the x-rays showed a heart that looks like it belongs to a cat 7 times his age. The vet is recommending an ultrasound and an ECG as further screening but wanted to know if anyone has any perience with cardiac disease in cats

I know this is long but please consider helping me if you can. We've had some problems over the last year. I finished my advanced degree and prepared to enter a new career. Around this time I found out she had carried on a flirtation with a man at her work. She was also in the habit of making very hurtful comments that insulted me as a man. This culminated in the week I found out about the flirtation from her coworkers cracking jokes about it at a party. I worried so much she would leave me or that I was a bad husband. It seemed like everywhere I looked there was some article or tv talk show advising that men failed to be good husbands today and I worried a lot. When I talked to family or friends they seemed to always ask if I was showing her romance or sensitivity, and then advised me to take her out to dinner "once in a while." But I took her out about once a week on average and brought her flowers or a card all the time. For her birthday I bought her a great gift but she said she was disappointed and hoped I would do better next year. I guess I realized that I couldn't fix things and that trying to talk to her seriously about it just made things worse. So a few weeks ago I stopped trying. I still work hard for us and do my share at the house and fix things. But I don't ask her to talk with me about the relationship. If she gets mad about something or complains, which she did a lot, I just ignored it. I basically started to live my own life and not worry so much about her and her happiness because I felt like I couldn't make her happy. Most of the doctors i know are Christian or Muslim. This may be because i'm Christian and so i've gotten to know a lot of Christian doctors, but i've met doctors in other contexts and they are also often theistic if not Christian.

It seems kids and adults who break the law in our fine country get away with it far to often or with very few consequenses. I think there should be much more community service and much less jail time.
