If you were a mutant would you join the brotherhood of mutants or the x-men?

I'd probably be like rouge and be torn between the two. Maybe start with the X-men when i was young to learn to use my powers correctly and drink Charles kool aid about using my powers for good and world peace. I'd probably then get frustrated with all the prejudice people, there hate crimes, and want to join the brotherhood to make them pay. I'd then realize the errors in my ways and go back to the x-men only to realize things have changed and my heart isn't in fighting crime anymore. I'd flake out of the x-men and move to japan or something in a quiet village, something like wolverine would do. In dire situations, i'd help the x-men...but for the most part my crime fighting days would be done in favor of a simpler life
