How can social security recipients stop congress from taxing social security income?

Congress has not only used social security taxes for purposes which were not intended when the Social Secuirty Act was originally ped but has the gall to tax Social Security income to the tune of 85% of receipts. In order for Social Security to survive the use of Social Security Taxes must be limited to Social Security Retirees, their spouses and not those who didn't pay into the system. We never received interest on the taxes that were withheld and I see no reason to pay on the payments received.
