Phone screen cracked can u buy new gl screen?

My Droid incredible I got for Xmas fell off the dryer and the screen cracked.but it still works. This is what I get for folding towls for my parents :/ anyways the top gl converging cracked. I heard of people buying new gl screen or something for like 10$. Is it true? Do u think Verizon will get me a free replacement
